Courtyard Dinner During a Power Outage
Paint an overhead courtyard scene for a short story in which neighbors bring dinner to a communal table during a blackout.
Prompt
Paint an overhead courtyard scene for a short story in which neighbors bring dinner to a communal table during a blackout. Lit windows frame the table on three sides, and small battery lanterns and candles reveal plates, plants, and people passing a bowl. Leave the far end of the courtyard in shadow and let the gestures carry the scene instead of adding captions.
