Ice Core Logged at a Polar Field Camp

Draw a precise editorial illustration of researchers logging a newly extracted ice core at a polar field camp. Show the core resting in a clean segmented tray while one researcher marks depth intervals and another records observations. Distinguish the drill, storage boxes, and snow surface clearly, leaving blank space outside the drawing for labels added later.
