How to use it
The OECD adopted the AI Principles in 2019 and updated them in 2024. They address values such as fairness, transparency, safety, and accountability alongside policy recommendations for governments.
A product team can use the principles to check whether a public explanation tells people how AI affects them, where to raise a concern, and who is responsible for handling it.
