BLIP-Diffusion: Pre-trained Subject Representation for Controllable Text-to-Image Generation and Editing

Subject-driven text-to-image generation models create novel renditions of an input subject based on text prompts. Existing models suffer from lengthy fine-tuning and difficulties preserving the subject fidelity. To overcome these limitations, we introduce BLIP-Diffusion, a new subject-driven image generation model that supports multimodal control which consumes inputs of subject images and text prompts. Unlike other subject-driven generation models, BLIP-Diffusion introduces a new multimodal encoder which is pre-trained to provide subject representation. We first pre-train the multimodal encoder following BLIP-2 to produce visual representati

DIM: Dynamic Integration of Multimodal Entity Linking with Large Language Model

Our study delves into Multimodal Entity Linking, aligning the mention in multimodal information with entities in knowledge base. Existing methods are still facing challenges like ambiguous entity representations and limited image information utilization. Thus, we propose dynamic entity extraction using ChatGPT, which dynamically extracts entities and enhances datasets. We also propose a method: Dynamically Integrate Multimodal information with knowledge base (DIM), employing the capability of the Large Language Model (LLM) for visual understanding. The LLM, such as BLIP-2, extracts information relevant to entities in the image, which can faci

FIREVISION: An Intelligent Smoke and Fire Detection System Using Computer Vision with the BLIP Model and IoT Connectivity

This project proposes the development of an intelligent smoke and fire detection system using computer vision integrated with the Internet of Things (IoT). The solution aims to improve the efficiency and reliability of traditional fire detection methods, reducing false alarms and enabling faster and more accurate responses. The system is implemented in Python and integrates several libraries, including OpenCV for image capture and processing, the BLIP model for automatic caption generation and visual content analysis, as well as Flask and Blynk Cloud for real-time remote monitoring and control. The architecture was designed in a modular fashi
